The photo as you took it to me is very good. Perhaps a macro would show greater close up detail, but then wouldn't convey the story this does to the viewer. This picture makes me wonder were had this crankshaft been in it's time and what history would it tell if it could talk. Was it from a car, boat, etc., and what brought it to this shore. Perhaps a part of some Deep Impact vehicle that came to earth to explore;-) Dwight

Yea very interesting, maybe a crankshaft from a RIB? Or maybe its an animals RIB?
How is the photo? I have never taked a close up shot like this.

Dennis, what you have here is a crankshaft and flywheel out of a motor, alot of neat colors and composition. Kind of makes me wonder how it ended up at the exact location it did. One thing for sure is it's been there a very long time. Dwight
