Hi Sony, Thanks, glad you liked this one. It was in a hotel in Las Vegas.
As I recall the room was rounded. It was really a crazy room, a cafe. Neat place.
Have a GR8 NIGHT! Lori :)

Another beauty... Why didn't I saw this then? Gosh! Beautiful capture Lori, nice color, perfect lighting.... Just wonder, is it the wall bending or is it because you're using ultrawide lens?
But it's so good though...

Wow, I can't tell if it that large frame or the presence of the room corner... or maybe both... but this sure is 3D-like. Good job!
Best, Dave

There's always something a little surreal about objects related to the fourth dimension. We can measure it but not completely grasp what it is. This illustrates the point perfectly.

Wow! Simply outstanding! The 'fish-eye' lens look (in the curvature of the ceiling's) brought to mind Salvador Dalí's surrealistic "Persistence of Memory" (1931) with its 'melting clocks' representing the irrelevance of time; and also Ingmar Berman's "Smultronstället" (Wild Strawberries) and the clocks that remind the aging physician that the mortality of his empty existence is coming due... Beautiful colors, superb composition, and profound thematic ... Simply admirable photografic work Ms Stitt... Gab

Hi Gustav, Thanks so much for your nice comment... I, myself, am a BIG TIME 'clock nut', I have no clue as to why, but I do love clocks, and we have quite a few of them.
Hope you're having a nice evening, Lori :)

HI Jim, You have a Good one also. Just one more tidbit. I have an old WW2 clock from my mother, when my father was in the war. During blackouts, no electricity, this clock was made out of (I think) some kind of hard cardboard. Maybe I should photograph IT sometime. (now this is getting me thinking...I also have one of my father's Navy hats, he was an officer) Hmmmmmm........ L:)

ALways nuts about time,. I have a radio synced wristwatch as well as 3 clocks in the house which sync to WWV in boulder CO. I started as a kid going to the old country dumps and finding alarm clocks which I would bring home and repair. a Soldering iron and some thin brass shim stock and you can get those old clocks back on the road with minimum effort. it s little secret I learned from another clock nut once. Have a wonderful 4th. I got the next two days off and hope to get the most out of them. jc

HI John,
Can't say the song was 'before my time' because I know I'm older than you! Anyway, the lines aren't familiar to me.
Thanks for your comment John, have a GR8 day, Lori ;)

Hi Jim, I too am a BIG TIME clock nut, (we have more than a 'few'!) I've often wondered just what it is about clocks them I like them so much!
Don't recall exactly what was on the other wall, but I do know they weren't more clocks or I would have photographed them also!
Have a GR8 day! Lori :)
