Larry I don't think I have ever seen a firefly - what a great capture - maybe a bit of a crop might enhance the composition did a bit of a tweak see if you like

Yes I did get it..I'm having serious problems with going over a setting of 200 on my camera, others have said the same thing...was just wondering if the D70 had the same issue, and I very much appreciate your response.. thanks...:):)Linda

Larry this is an excellent macro..I haven't seen a firefly in years...this is very well done, and it didn't scare me either. Sorry for taking so long I'm a little behind in commenting..I see you are really getting the hang of that new macro lens. This is beautifully done, love all the greens and the composition...:):)Linda

It was still pretty light...besides tey fly arond when they light up...I tried to take a long exposure night shot of them about 20 seconds but nothing showed up...guess they weren't bright enough to light the sensor even as ISO 1600...thanks Larry
