The golden sunset really allows the silouette to stand out.

Yes Ann, it was glorious at the time! Paris is magical, even on a grey, drizzly day, but with a sky like this above notre dame...
There was a lot more of this golden sky in the original, but I cropped it to bring out the detail in the bridge and cathedral.
