This is what I was trying to do. I know how hard this shot was to take! Very good work Laurie.

Thanks Glenn! I really enjoyed Bok Sanctuary?it was quite and relaxing. This was my first visit and I will be going back. There are lots of plants, birds and butterflies. It seemed like there was a photo opportunity at every turn. I hope you get a chance to head over that way. :)

Thanks Alastair! I never mind if you help me fix an image. :)
The weather was not so great yesterday and the lighting was a little dark--it started to rain about an hour after I shot this. I like your edit on it though. Thanks! :)

Thanks Paolo! This was a very relaxing place. The tower is unlike anything we have in Florida and it is a working tower. The weather was not so great yesteday and it started to rain about 20 minutes after I shot this. Of course an hour later it was bright and sunny--typical Florida weather! :)

Good capture, Laurie. It's a hard one to get the exposure exactly right. You've done very well under the lighting conditions. Cheers, Ann.

Lovely shot Laurie although there are 2 things I've noticed: 1. the tower seems to leaniing slightly to the right 2. Its very slightly dark.
I've had a quick rework on it to lighten it up a bit..(hope you don't mind!)- what do you think?
Aside from that, the composition is bank on with the symmetry working very well. The reflection is superb too. I really like how the banks of the lake curve inwards to the tower and its reflection, leading the eye perfectly to the subject of the image and keeping it there.
Well spotted!
