I mean, THIS is photography TO ME!!! I try exploring creative photography, but it doesn't give me as much satisfaction. Your series on Stourhead is magnificent!!! I think the title is great. It is simple and to the point, and then we can move on to the real interest here: the beautiful picture.
I love the placement you gave to the building, Chris. The feeling I get from this picture is that of a little building all hunkered down as it is overlooked by the forest and menaced by the dramatic clouds overhead.

I still haven't got this colour thing sorted out, but my images are saved in sRGB, (as far as I know!), and the way they look on UF is pretty consistent with the way I saved them on my hard disc.

I am very impressed that you can return again and again to a favourite spot like Stourhead and always produce something new. This is a very satisfying shot at many levels, particularly the gorgeous range of colours in the foliage and the riveting folly itself. Not to mention the sky, with clouds echoing the shape of the tree-line. Quite beautiful.

Beautiful scene. In the version uploaded the greens seem a little yellow, yet when I open this image in Photoshop the greens are a little richer and not as yellow. Not sure but if you're not already assigning or converting your images to a profiles such as sRGB doing so might help in reduce such inconsistencies. I'm not sure if you notice a difference between what you see and what is posted or not. Hopefully it's not just me :)
