Hi Jeanette, San Galgano it's a really magic place. I have been there for a night and I have been able to see three different aspects of the same location: the beauty and the serenity of the sunset, the magic of the night and the ancient breath in a foggy morning. Ciao Fabio

Jeanette I love the concept, the title, the colors and textures in this image..I like the blurring efffect, it's interesting and soft, very pleasing to my eye, and in another way it calls attention to the reds and the focused area. I don't know if that was your plan, but I like it very much...wonderfully done...:):)Linda

A dramatic framing of this incredible place. The blur effect adds something strange to this view.

thanks, my dear....for showing me my favourite church in the tuscany...
I like the perspective and place from where you took it...
when have you been there?
a very good example of this concept of limitless churches is also a church in the middle of Lisboa...look for it if you are ever there
a hug Verena

There's something about the light treatment and blur that creates the illusion I'm looking at a small scale model captured with a cam without macro capabilities. Intriguing! I would have tried to close the white escape at top, but you no doubt have a reason for not doing so! /H :)

San Galgano, one of the most 'powerful' italian sites for this kind of architecture and mood... I'm glad to see that your italian travel brought you here also :-) Too bad that you most probably caught a rainy/weird weather, but I like the blurred effect anyhow :)
