Dear Ashley, That's a door handle (European style door handle in most parts) and the room key in the lock below that with a heavy metal thing attached to it so you don't take it with you when going out but leave it at the front desk. See how magical things are.... :~>

Dear Angelo, I agree but the problem is I never shoot around here (except for Studio work where I can create my own little world). I just don't find it stimulating which I know is bad cause LA does have some things to shoot. It's that Richard Gere thing where he got burned out on Cindy Crawford's looks. (but maybe there wasn't much to her besides the shell - I can definitely say the same for LA ). Been here too long - gotta find a new full time place (or better yey, stay on the road) . It's like that Talking Heads song "Cities" (gotta, find a new city / find a new city to live in) Coffee at work..hahaha, Mark

Whoa! This is really creative. I do, however, find it a bit distracting that I can't figure out what that thing is that the hand is reaching for.

Oooh, it is straight out of a 60's horror flick... I like the movement of the shadow across the frame... very suspenseful!
I like the fact that it's got deep shadows as it adds to the mystery.
Very unique and cool photo!

That's true, Mark. But if that's the case, why travel to a far-away land? The shot could have been taken at home... :)

(Answer: there's no room service at home!)

Nice work with light and shadow. Maybe the contrast could be boosted to get the lit areas a bit brighter.
