Dear Rafi, thanks for all your so personal comments and giving me some insight to your personal history. It's very appreciated.
Kind regards, Markus
PS: I started already with the translation of your wifes stories, but it's much more difficult than expected. And, as a newly retired, time runs out quickly;-)

Dear Markus,
the fact that my comments appear twice has nothing to do with my age. Being beyond 75 I was tested for an insurance program and found mentally intact LOL. It is a result of the fact that when I want to check what I had written and press the preview bar, the system has already committed my words to paper.
To compensate, I attach a photo of myself in my mid 30s. It was taken in Sinai, before we returned it to Egypt as part of the peace agreement with that country. You may regognize me by the green shirt I was wearing. I had a .22 pistol at my hip, bought especialy so as not to have to carry a heavier weapon and an empty camera case in front of me. My camera, a later Asahi Pentax model, with which this photo was taken, was in the hands of a friend.
Best regards,
Rafi

I see that you're taking on translucency in flowers and getting beetter at it by the photo, although in this one the closed irises are a bit too distracting.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my "Memories from Paris 1, 2 and 3." They made me laugh and flattered me up to my ears, as I think they say in English.
Best regards,
Rafi

Beautiful iris, Markus; the hue and details of the petals are so well captured.
