About Many of you will probably think I have altered this image majorly, but in fact I haven't. I have done a small colour balance adjustment and that is it.

The sky was the most incredible fluoro pinks that I have never seen before and the sun rays were incredible. I really pushed the camera to try and capture it but still couldn't quite get the intensity of colour. So the true colour was way more saturated then this in reality.

BTW...there was no cropping.

So anyways, hope you like it anyway.

This is award-winning caliber, and proceeding at ONCE to my favorites folder. You are my sunset inspiration, girl.

The only photos in the world in which electrical or telephonical wires are charming and deeply expresive.
Congrats Judi. Once again your are the Master of Skies, a title that I am inclined to institute.

Oh yes! The color is sensational, but the beautifully detailed emerging light and the terrific poles and wires are the icing on the colorful cake.

Best wishes,

Thanks so much Mark. With most of my landscapes I do use a polarizer and a tripod, although to be honest, I think I need to get a new polarizer, the colour seems to have warn off...lol!! I also permanently use a UV filter.

I love it! Glorious light, Judi. You are fortunate indeed to be there and be skilled enough to capture it well.

I guess part of being known as a skilled PS manipulator is that people always think you tinkered with the image. But I believe you here. I guess nature can always give you more stunning sights than what humankind can create on a computer...

Good work!

Qustion ... did you use a polarizer with this picture? I've been experimenting both ways with sunsets. Still no conclusion.

This image is unreal, I love how the sun rays are projected so clearly. The transition of colours is amazing.

I think that we really need to go to faraway Queensland to see Nature perform her most wonderful acts.

Keep well and happy,

Francisco

Something about power poles and sunsets... :) (have one of those in my own portfolio!)

Colours are great, the white, pink and blue works well, and I really like the radial light rays from the centre of the composition.

great wtuff as usuaky Judi :)

Love the colors and the rays with the fringing of the clouds. Always been a big fan of sunsets.

The telephone poles in the foreground add a bit of character as well.

Looks good technically as well. I assume this was hand held, so the shutter speed must have been OK.

Thanks for the photo, I enjoyed it. Mark
