About "Always Alive" - direct translation of the popular name for this plant.

A typical cerrado plant. I wanted to show it in monochrome so you may regard its shape and not be distracted by the background colours.

I found this greenish duotone was most pleasing to me. I would love to hear your opinions, positive or otherwise.

Thanks to all my friends for their support and great comments!

Thanks for the visit and comments, Kevin. I took the family to Brasil for Easter. We visited with my relatives and took a one-week guided tour to the Serra da Canastra National Park.

I'm back in Liz's backyard now, and just using up the holiday's snaps for UF.

Very beautiful - from your images you must be back in Brazil - for good or just visiting home?

This image in particular catches my eye -;ole you the tone fits the image and the monochrome choice is the coreectr one.

I really think your somposition here shines. K

Carmem
