Hi Rona,, Wide open would be a small apature number.. This will allow you to use faster shutter speeds but will decrease depth of feild. But, in this case a decrease in DOF is a good thing..
Hi Pat, I am so slow at getting back to others on their comments. I'm so sorry. I never get tired of your tips. I am glad you told me that. Its great info, now if I just remember to use it. lol, When you mean wide open do you mean high numbers in the apeture? I usually shoot below 1/1000 shutter speed, with ISO anywhere from 200 to 400. Thank you on the help and anytime you want to email me with advice it is highly welcome. Thanks Pat.
Rona,, I supose you get tired of my tips... I really like the detail here.. It seems you took advantage of your cameras resolution with this one. I am not familiar with the Powershot Pro, Does it give you control of the apature? The reason I ask is when you have a back ground that distract from the subject, OPen the apature wide open and let the BG go out of focus, You probably already are aware of this...
Also, PS lets us do this after the fact... Did this real quick to just give the idea...
Excellent Rona, had a horse a few years ago looks just like him. Same markings everything we had to sell him in the end he was just to strong for my daughter !! Cheers Julie
