About After looking at the daffodil post from last night, I got the feeling that the border just kind of washed it out. I worked with it a little more trying to get a more vivid image.

This looks GR8 Mark! I like this one much better also! Good details and fantastic composition.

Don't know why, but when I've tried to do the extend the flower thing, I've yet had it come out!! Don't know what I'm doing wrong. LOL

Anyway, you did a really nice job here,
Lori :)

Both Daffodils came out nice. Nicely framed and 3D effect adds to the shot. Very sharp. The 18-70 is an excellent lens from what I have read, I'm sure you are enjoying it.

This one is more vivid. I like the way the daffodil comes out into the frame. It's like saying it won't be confined.

I have to admit, I am not wild about this yellow frame, it takes away from the image imo. I might have added a thin yellow line (thickness of 1) and then a back border around it and maybe even another thin yellow line to finish it off with! The daffodil is beautiful, I have always loved those flowers, because it means that spring is here for sure! :)

Good vivid colours Mark. I like the dark background against the white of the petals.

Beautiful detail.
Something I've been playing with to get vivid images, high pass sharpening. If you haven't tried it ,give it a go, interesting results.

Wonderful Photograph Mark, Great Colors and Clarity. Very well presented. I feel the yellow in the frame is too strong. A thin line of yellow would have done fine...

Thanks for sharing,
Peter Daniel
