A sublime and calming landscape. The exposure looks good, although there could be a bit more shadow detail in the foreground, but this is a common problem with dusk/sunrise landscape shots. The reflection on the water from the sun is esp. effective. There seems to be a fair amount of noise in the blue sky/clouds. A slight gaussian blur masked to the sky may help to eliminate that. And finally, the only other nit pick is that the horizon is positioned fairly in the direct middle of the composition. I don't think that really detracts in this case, however it may have been nice to expand the sense of scale/depth to include more from the sky and less from the foreground, as the sky clearly hold more interest then the rocks in the foreground.

Great smooth water, and a nice foreground. Because the sky isn't that interesting, I think I would have de-emphasized it by moving the horizon up.

Very lovely, Lorraine. The colours are so soft and delicate. I think it would be just that much better if you straightened the horizon. Mary
