Phillip, this really caught my eye. I appreciate that you are able to shoot so well that you do not usually do much post work, but the work you did on this image makes it a real standout! Each time I look at it, there is something special to discover...an unexpected earring, aqua blue eyes, etc. You had to start with a great image to end up with this result, but imho the PS work was a genuine success.
By the way, I also loved the senior photo called "Past 4 yrs". What a terrific shot!

Chris, this is not an image straight out of the box. I normally don't mess with images very much in the post work, however; on this one, it seemed as though it started off going in this direction, after running a PS filter on it.
Once I did that, I noticed that I could get to this point relativly easy. I worked with multiple layers, along with contrast and brightness, and levels.
Way too much details to type out since it's not my normal work flow. I didn't intend on it looking like this. More of a by product from constant tweaking... ;)
