That is beautiful the light and shade make it quite dramatic. Really brings out the textures of leaves and petals, especially like the shadow inside the flower

You're very kind Linda..I think capturing in-flight birds takes practice & some luck..I know there are some photographers, check Marcus Armani, who are superb at doing this. Check this one which took me about 20 shots to get

Larry this is beautiful, I love the colors, and I like the play of light on the flower, and the one petal falling is a little sad for me. It's very nicely illustrating the transition from life to death, or dare I say the word, aging, yikes.....This is absolutely beautiful and nicely presented..:) Linda
Thank you for your comments on my images Larry...I've been trying to get a seagull or Tern, not sure of the name, but man that is sooooooo difficult, they're very fast moving and dart around, so you can have them in the viewfinder one minute and they're gone the next...grrrrr...but I'm not going to give up, keep your eyes open...

I really like the lighting on this floral, it has picked out the textures in the petals wonderfully while still retaining the flowers delicate appeal. Great shot.
