I like low high angle shot with much sharp clear details of the bird, as I like it, and if it was mine I?ll go for cloning the upper branches or heavy blur so the eyes concentrate on the main subject, though it?s a natural shot. Saeed

Yep. I try Auto only as a starting point. If I don't like it, I have some curves etc of my own pre-saved. If I do like it, I almost always end up tweaking it.

Superb Angelo.wonderful colours.In ps I never use Auto. I was always told To contol the computer rather than it control meBut who cares when you get stuff like this.

Hey Thilo,
Thanks for the comment. Don't know what you mean by "middle format" --- this is still the 10D. Maybe you mean the square crop? If so, I thought it would eliminate some of the distracting branches either side. I'm glad you like it, too.
The 10D never ceases to please me with the details it captures. All you need is a bit of PS to bring it out. Straight out of the camera, this looked dull as hell and the sky was gray. I usually start from Levels, click on Auto and adjust to my taste from there.
