About
This photo was taken a number of years ago of the "shoals" of the gigantic Savannah River. THe fog and summer heat is subsiding from the river as I rushed to get a wideangle lens attached and set up a tripod. Seconds later, the scene was gone. It was about 9:30 a.m. in the morning. Unfortunately today, the entire river has been replaced by three Power Dams. So the magnificent Savannah River ( which I have a good many photos of ) is gone. Progress???
I'm almost at the stage of giving up trying to figure out what's progress and what isn't. I do like this shot though. I enjoy that rush of setting up and hoping that you'll manage it in time. :) Need to take my tripod with me more often. When you end up with a shot like this the effort's always worth it. Very nice.
