great work Pankaj. If i dont see the bottom part of picture and just focus on Taj mahal in the black border it becomes a fabulous picture !!
In such pictures the target object should always be most prominent then the people around.

Ha ! what a magnificent view of the Taj ! Beautiful image.

well done.

Pankaj,

I have a story about this view - about 10 years ago I was in Delhi once. Had bit of time so took the tour to Agra for Taj. I had great expectations about the it and imagined to be very very beautiful.

However, I was taken to Agra fort first and shown the the Taj from that point, about 2km away. It looked rather mudane and very much like any other domed masque. As a result I completely lost my interest in Taj.

Then after an hour or so I was taken to Taj. I remember there is a big compound wall and one has to climb few steps up to enter inside. I really didn't want to go in at all !!!.

So had a cigratte and climbed the steps after few minutes. When I reached the entrance, I saw - "exactly the view of your imgae".

I instantly became dumbstruck !!!. I stood there revited, in disbelief and amazement. Someone passing by pusshed me to the side and I was there for atleast 10 minutes- gazing in amazement.

What a beautiful little building. I will never forget that day.

Thank you for reminding me the day after all these years.

regards,
ken.

On second glance, I think the people at various distances add quite a bit of perspective to the shot. It shows just how large it truly is. Great shot.

Super photo. A couple of friends of mine went to India over Christmas and got engaged at the Taj Mahal. Surely it is romantic on top of being a wonder of the world.

Great natural frame. Unfortunately, the only problem with touring is the tourists!
