I use the Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9.0 ( now at Corel Suite) Make an oval selection, convert it to a mask, mark selection none, do a gaussian blur with a radius greater than 50. Merge the image and save... At graficssoft.about.com you can find tutorials for Photoshop and PaintShop.

Okay Gilberto - this is a wonderful framing technique for this shot! HOW do you do this one. I have struggled trying to get a photo in an oval shape with blurred edges and haven't been able to figure it out. I can't seem to be able to figure out the feather technique either. Jan
