Hi Pan, actually I use Canon's FS 4000 UF. It's nice but I think I still don't get the grip on that 'cos the color reproduction is kinda different from the original (I mostly use slide films). Try that one, 'cos I got that very cheap (kinda bargain for around USD 300....)

Dear Sony.

My scanner is an old Agfa 1212p. I think it's time to change it since it does not work properly under winXP (lots of restarts on the scanning software).
If you want to scan negs or slides go for a dedicated film scanner.Much more expensive but well worth it.

Very nice use of filter... really dramatic.
Btw, what kind of scanner did you use? parameters? 'cos I see that the reproduction is very nice....

Dear Candan.

This must have been my luckiest photographic moment. This shot is actually taken in the yard of my grandfather's home, destroyed by the Nazi's during 1943.
The previous night had frozen everything and the morning sun created mist.I used Fuji velvia 50 and i underexposed it like 64 iso.Fuji velvia is well renowned for it's vivid colors. This resulted in very saturated colors. I also used an 81c filter (orange) to give these warm tones. Then in the photoshop i uplifted the levels just to compensate for the 1/2 stop of the underexposure and i burned the frame around it to give the effect of frame. The colors are natural in a way, just produced by the 1/2 underexposure and the usage of 81c.
For us the photographers, the morning light always compensates the loss of few hours sleep...
Take care :-)

There was a RObin Williams movie. Do not remember the name but took place in heaven. This shot remembered me the scene from heaven. I think you changed real shot in photoshop but makes stronger the effect of the photo..

It is always better to get up early to catch the life:) Well done pan...
