Nice pose. I probably would have thrown on a 1.4, or 2x, and just gone for the bird on the perch. Thanks for the info on when and where to shoot these.

These birds are called roseate spoonbill here and we see them year round on the coast but in March they come to this rookery (Lake Martin) to nest. We usually see young in the nests around May 15th or so. I'm hoping to get some more shots of the chicks and I will share them. Thanks so much for the comments.

Well we have a lot of this bird callled here by "Colhereiro" but its appears only in june, july... Does it migate there to here?
