Thanks for the ideas Morgan. I'll look into San Gregorio Lake. I was planning to return to Bosque, which I went to for the first time last year, and back to White Sands which I've been to and shot several times.

Thanks for your comments Ron, and welcome to UF.

The time I spend in an area varies. If you're referring to this shot and the landscape-orientation shot posted next to it, they were shot about 5 minutes apart even though I was in the area for about three days. Sometimes, especially if it's an area that I know, and I know where to go to get good shots, I may arrive in the afternoon and shoot, then shoot in the morning and head to the next destination. Other times, I may spend a week in an area exploring and waiting for the conditions to be right.

I am amazed by your photography. It is absolutely stunning. How long do you stay in one area...cuz something I see you have the same photo in the same area at different times of they day. I can learn a lot about photography by just observing yours.

I am indebted to you for your willingness to share your photos.

Thanx,
ron

Excellent! Can't wait to see more shots of NM! Do you have any places in mind for shots? A couple of very good places to check out would be San Gregorio Lake (near Cuba), Santa Fe, and of course, Carlsbad Caverns.

Don't have many more shots of NM Morgan because I don't shoot there much. I'll be returning this winter, so will probably have some more to post then.

I really like how the grass outlines the reflection of the moutain.

Another great reflection, James! What perfectly still water to create these conditions.
