Wanted to see how close I could get to this non-flower thing and took this for fun. Yes, it is tangled up with our Fiesta Lantana. Weeds have been a real problem the past few months - they are thriving - and this one snuck up on me.

The tangle of twigs and brash central presence of the dandelion does suggest weedy encroachment on some bright red flowering plant rather buried beneath it all. Peter's version is nice too, in a different way so it depends what your intent is.

But, Janice It has it's own beauty.. and with a little PSP it can be better... Since i don't have the origional there were some limitations... Still you did good with the camera work... I hope you don't mind my playing with your photo...

I am not familiar with yellow and white dandilions. I think it's rather pretty. Nice detail in your picture.
