Salam Arwa, yes it must be the same photoshop! :) you can find it in the "Layer/New Fill Layer/Solid color" menu, then set the "Mode" of the layer to be "overlay", the mode determines how this layer will be blended with the one below. Thanks for the nice comment!

Hey Cheryl, yes there was some PS work :) I turned to BW, dodged and burned some parts to add drama and contrast, and then applied solid color adjustment layers blended with overlay, one for the sky, one for the rocks, and one for the rest to color the image again.

Hi Fadel, Maybe the order of comments is a bit unlucky, as in comparison with the previous one, this one seems a bit forced, mainly because of the use of colour in the sky. Yet, if I'd only seen this shot, I would've thought differently. It's all there and a good shot, with almost the same expert post processing, but in comparison with the other one, it fades a bit into oblivion.... Nonetheless very intriguing and moody.
Cheers,
Hugo

One of your best yet. Perhaps you should study cinematography. Your eye behind a movie camera would be an interesting prospect for the director of a science fiction film.
