..but you have forgotten that to block a cat (and if wild again more) is difficult, often my 5 cats has big placed and funny expressions, but they are fractions of second! and "the hunting" (without crews) always is opened..

Yes, you're correct, I cheated a bit, and went past the optical zoom into the digital. I was laying on my stomach about 15 feet from her, she's a wild cat, yet, and I can't get too close to her to take a picture. I should probably have stopped at the end of the optical zoom and then cropped, but... I was concentrating so much on her, I passed the end and went to digital zoom. The imagae as you see it is uncropped. The little Nikon 4800 I used for this has a 8.3 optical... so if I'm careful, I can get close enough with out the digital zoom.
