Nice concept Peter but after viewing the original I actually like that one better. In the original I would've moved in a little closer & push the leaves coming from the left aside (Camera Mounted), the green background which is thrown off focus is good. Thanks for your recent comment, cheers.

I like what you did here with the framing! A pretty blossom, can't say I have ever seen one of these before though, I really like how Evelyn cleaned this image up. I make my images larger then life when I remove or blur the bg's in them in PSP, that way I am erasing pixel by pixel. An excellent idea Peter! :)

Hi, Peter. When I saw this one, and the original, I couldn't help playing with it. I think you lost something when you erased or cut out or whatever the flower - nasty edges(don't you hate that? why can't they come out clean???) were left. But your original has some really nice soft green background. By cloning you can get rid of the extra - branches, etc, and leave just the flower. Then it is a simple matter to add the rest of your framing without having the obvious 'cut and paste'. I also thought the silver metallic was a little strong for the delicate bloom - and opted for a softer frame. After that I just got carried away and circle cropped and softened edges and... Hope you don't mind my ideas here. It's fun to play with a well-taken pic!
