This one caught my eye, Ade - the ominous feeling is amplified by the barren hills. The sheer size of the cloud and the landscape is clear by the relatively tiny impact of the town. I like the smoky yellow tones too. Amy

No doubt that there is stormy weather a coming mate.
Good shot - late afternoon from the amount of yellow tones in the shot, really adds some warmth to what might have been an overly depressing shot.

it's a proper desolate location up there, loads of those reservoirs feeding Huddersfield and Manchester, so you usually get a subject to play with.
been loving these clouds though. one minute hail, the next, cotton wool!
