Hello Claude. No the tide really does not come in, it just kisses the rocks over and over again (this shot was taken on the Carribean side of the Island). On the Atlantic side, the tide comes in more but not over a large distance. In fact it is pretty interesting to me how small the tide is and yet how much erosion it causes to the beaches. Over the night the beach can change. Cheers, Andree
