Location City -  Manzanares el Real
State -  MADRID
Country - Spain   Spain

You might be right actually, the repost seems bare and loses charachter, but I guess you already knew that.

Cheers,

Pete:

I thank for the interest which you demonstrate when commenting my photography, but I am not in agreement with your commentary.

If I had wanted to make a photography "documentary" of the castle, that is, a pure description of how is these building, for example for a book of history of Architecture, I agree in which any element that distracts of the subject can be an annoyance.

Nevertheless my objective was not this one. It was to make a "landscape with castle", and to show the building in his surroundings and with a certain aesthetic sense.

For that reason I think that the prairie as much as the little trees that we see in first term have the object to locate the castle in their surroundings as well as to give a greater depth to the image.

An image only of the castle would be something similar to which attached to this comment. It seems better to you? To my no

I hope you don't mind me being honest but I think this photo would be much better if you were able to get a bit closer so that the small trees are removed from either side of the frame. The trees are bare and distracting which is a shame as the castle looks interesting and it could be done better maybe. Try again perhaps.

Un abrazo I g n a c i o
