It gives the picture something spicy, Marie. The are already so many daffodils posted that a differentiation is needed. Beautiful picture.

I'm with you, don't really like bugs but yes they can make a picture more interesting, as well as being a macro challenge. T his is a great composition and - two for the price of one LOL
