Location City -  to Mombasa
State -  TRAIN FROM NAIROBI
Country - Kenya   Kenya
About A strange posture (but not really). when I take a train ANYWHERE, if possible, I always try to get some shots from the window of my compartment. The African children along this route weren't too crazy about having their picture taken (only at the stations if you bought a little something from them - I always tried to). When they saw the train go by if they spotted a camera lens sticking out the window they'd turn around and run before you could get a shot - this one was a bit slow so I caught her in the process. Shoot enough and you'll always get something of interest. This was also the infamous train that once had an unwelcomed lion jump on board and do some very serious damage - they're a lot more careful about that these days. No PS used. Scanned off an 11x14 on the Epson Flatbed. Wonderful place with wonderful people - can't wait to go back again.

I like this one. She looks like she could take off and fly with the way her arms are positioned. I bet that lion thing was very exciting way back when.
