About	This is one of my "I wish..." pictures. I wish I'd have taken the picture before they moved the trailer into a place where I couldn't get the picture I wanted, one more isolated from the buildings... but.... oh well. These guys are the last of the mascots from the "Doggie Diners" that used to be common in San Francisco. There are no more of them left...

Is that still there, Jack? Last I heard the nursery next door was trying to get it removed. Nice to know they didn't succeed. I went back to where I took this photo a couple of weeks ago, and they'd moved them.... too bad. I remember when I lived in SF there were at least three or four doggie diners left.... I think the one across from the zoo is something like the carrousel diner... oh well, a time gone by...

I live in SF and there is still a dog up across from the zoo though not at a doggie diner at a much lesser place.
