Thanks, Sally. You are not the first person to say this about the photo. I took a few without the bug, which were lovely abstracts. I wanted a bit more though, and the story that went with it - so I uploaded the one with the bug. Maybe I will post one of these pure abstracts sometime soon...

I've played with this in PS and I like it better without the bug - those water droplets are too beautiful and sharp to have the limelight taken away from them! You did a good job with the exposure - with such a contrast between light and dark. I can't wait to see what photos you have to upload next!

Thanks for the comment, Andree. He actually got stuck in one of the drops (I don't know if you saw a Bugs Life or was it Antz - similar to what happened there), so I had to rescue him. Luckily the rose is still surviving...
