I dont' mind at all. That is a very neat affect. It's called Gothic Glow? In PS? What type of affect is it?

I love the shot - the only thing is the harsh light is a little distracting and takes away from the gentleness of the shot. I did an action called "Gothic Glow" which is a personal favorite of mine as it softens the photo and adds a highlight to the vignet selection. Hope you don't mind my playing with it - see below...

Thank you for your comments. I'm going to try this picture again at my next chance and see if I can't eliminate that shadow naturally.

Thanks so much. Yes, I noticed that shadow but when I went to buff it out I didn't like how the depth was lost. I have to find a happy medium. It was natural light by the way.

Beautiful compisition and emotive feel...there is a harsh shadow and it's a bit dark but still beautiful theme and capture!

Pretty composition, if anything I'd say to watch the harsh flash/shadow, maybe this in natural light? It's a very loving and sweet photo! Gotta love a baby's hand and all the precious details :)
