As a pilot I would not want my wings to fly towards those clouds.
Cirrus or CirroStratus clouds are usually the first sign of a Warm front. As you fly towards the warm front, the layers of cloud gradually get lower and lower until you are underneath a very large area of rain laden low cloud. Not good if there is high land as well!
But photographically, I think they are great and many thanks for your comments on my "Column of Light"
