todd, believe it or not, i've only been to SD once before. given that, you could check out: - the point loma lighthouse (can be very cool on a clear day with nice clouds) - old town and the gaslight district - the zoo and animal park
however, if you are willing to drive a few hours, anza-borrego state park is very nice if you're into the desert thing. kinda like a mini-death valley with several slot canyons. also, given all the rain socal got this winter, the wildflowers are really popping out there. the wildflowers should be going until about april or even maybe may. when are you going?

abel, these abstracts are great! you should be posting these more often. such vibrant colors and lovely Mondriaan inspired compositions. your countryman would be proud!

mr. t, very good, very strong, very disorienting. it messed with my spatial awareness and it took me a few minutes but i eventually figured it out. you have a knack for these truly outstanding compositions without an obvious subject of interest. somehow the whole image is the "obvious subject of interest". way to break the most basic of "rules" and get away with it.
