3 coyotes had taken down an elk overnight and were feeding in the morning.
I know a lot of people are disgusted by this, but it is nature. The point of the national parks is to see protected wildlife and lets face it animals eat animals including us (on both sides of the equation).
This was shot from about 150 yards off on the opposite side of a small river. I hid in a bush, but still they kept checking me out. I always kept my eye on all three. I think it was worth it to witness their behavior toward each other and the birds trying to share the feast.
