Dear Arwa, there is not so much to tell! :-)
I placed the flower on the windowsill (I live on the third floor), the white background is the (clouded) sky and the light from outside fell through the flower. That's all...

Your floral photos are outstanding but this one does it the most for me. The shadings in the flower are great and the detial is well captured. A very simple look but probible a loy of work. Nice job.
