This is where the four of "his" family and the six of "her" family became "our" family. Two tiny bedrooms, one very busy bathroom. The folks had one bedroom, the five girls had the other. As for the three boys, we shared an old camp trailer. The house was originally located in the "ghost" town of Jerome but was moved off the mountain and twenty miles away when our old man struck a good deal. It was eventually used only for storage after the family grew some more and much larger (and more bathrooms) quarters were built. A few months ago our parents arranged with the local fire department to use it for training in a "live fire" training evolution. It was a real heartbreaker. We had so many wonderful memories here.
