About She stood in front of the locked gate for a short while before she convinced herself to comfortably sit down on that old and dusty mat.
Eyes up to that milky sky, she decided to patiently wait for [ ] to come by. After all, he would not be late...he never was.
But none knew where she had gone - not even him this time.

All the time spent dreaming is never lost.

Aira, what a delight to find your portfolio and realise that you use a Mamiya M645J, I bought two of these cameras (they are pretty old) a while back and in the process of doing some research about them I found your information on 'my own' website.....look forward to taking a look at your shots. kind regards, david.

I like the angle and perspective.. always like a different view of buildings or any subject.. good use of b&W.. it adds to the overall mood and tone of the composition.. nicely seen and captured.. good work

He walked, hands thrust deep in the pockets of his overcoat, head down, oblivious to the charms of the old town. But old towns have a way of intruding themselves upon the introspective. As he walked by the crumbling old cinema, he felt a light pat on his head. He stopped. It wasn't raining. Puzzled, he felt the hair on the top of his head with his right hand, felt something wet and sticky. He brought his hand down and looked at his fingers which had come away with the unmistakable white and green goo of ... birdshit! He flung his eyes up, past the tattered rococco facade of the Cine Aguia to the bright blue sky above, where a pair of seagulls wheeled and swooped in the wind. "You shat on me!" he yelled at them, shaking his fist cinematically. He laughed a real laugh, something he hadn't done in many months. He continued walking, but now he looked around him with an alert and friendly face and was greeted by almost everybody he met.

Bel lavoro, aira!
mi piace molto
saluti,
marco

Wow this is a cool picture. I love the style of this building and the contrast you give it. Love the 2 birds in the corner too that's really cool it made the composition perfect. good job. keep on shooting.:)

Excellent angle, very personal and unique style. The tones are very clear and the light gives a special character in combination with the great contrast. No words for the birds....they give a sense of air and movement making a difference to the imperial building made of stone.Well done!!

Ciao Aira,
bellissima inquadratura e anche originale!!
Sembra che abbia scattato con la naturalezza con cui si alza la testa e si guarda il volo degli uccelli.

and a beautiful dream it is... maybe noone knew where she has gone but when she looked up she saw the birds and wispered her location to them... then he would know where to look... on the dusty mat of the Dream Factory...
wonderfully moody architecture shot in your usual unusual vision... excellent!!!! emy :)

La Mitica Mamiya!!
Finalmente ;)
Belli i gabbiani che si stagliano nel cielo in contrapposizione alla struttura architettonica.
Ciao ciao
