This is great! I love the colours and dof effect. I must study this technique!

I'm amused that you tried this with an orange as well! As you say, it's great fun... AJ

Thanks Dan. My BIG problom is that I am SHORT! I set the box on the coffee table, cause it is low but still had to use a step stool to get me higher. I guess next time I will need a ladder! When I scanned the negs into the computer and really looked, I had already come to that conclusion. It's either a ladder, or a box with lower sides....

Thanks, Paul. I did adjust the glass to object distance, but now I will try with the drops closer ttogether. I'm always willing to learn! ;- )

Lea, the inclusion of your object in each droplet is aided by having your drops pretty close together, and adjusting the distance between glass & object.

Lea , arnt these the most fun shots to do especially when you look through the view finder for the first time and see what youve got. This looks good with the contrasting colors . I would try to shoot down more on the drops to put them more the same plain as the sensor . This will bring more drops into focus.and the orange will show in more drops, Though this is a very nice presentation as it is well done.
