About This is an older picture, taken a little over a year ago. I was going through negatives and scanning them to put on cd and store in a safety box in case of a fire, and came accross this.

I took this right after he was born. Because he was born really fast, He had a bit of water on his lungs, and when one of the student doctors tried to get it out with a machine, they turned it on too full and collapsed his lungs. Needless to say, i was bitter. I didnt want to take pictures, because it was awful. But i did anyway because i wanted pictures of him while he was still so new. And now im really glad i did.
I really liked this one because he was 'peeking' out of his mask at me.(he hated that thing...and kept yanking out his feeding tubes and chest tubes).
And yes...he was jaundice. (can you tell??lol)
Poor little stinker, but trust me, you'd never know that he had lung problems now...hes a screamer! (This is Zeke)

This is great! Brings back memories with mine. The mask, the lights, the feeding tubes, the heart monitor and IV's. My first was a month early and swallowed to fast so the tube was in his nose and on the monitor. He was 5lb.er but You'd never know it now at 19. lol
Im glad you shared this. Thank you, Rona J.

Now that is a tough kid. I swear though it looks like he has a slight smile, it was one of the first things I noticed besides the medical paraphernalia. Bitter is a word that would be the starting point for the list to follow. glad he's ok :-)
