About	Just got my Digital Rebel and Speedlite 420 EX tonight and I was fooling around with it on this make shift still life. Took a bunch of these shots and I liked the darkness of this one. Still not too sure on how to use the Speedlite properly but hey I'm just getting started with DSLR. Comments always appreciated.

I think this has been captured very well. I like how the light has picked up the texture and how the detail on the apple, especially the yellowish flecks seem to glow. A good still life with moody yet effective lighting.

Wonderful gentle light renders the colours very warm and unusual. Nice experiment Regards Jorg
