every single review i've sen has said the d70 compares like for like with the 10d on almost every performance test apart from ISO control.

def the best of the bunch......preferred the crop though...added an abstract dimension to it. still an excellent photo though...looking forward to see them on yur computer. no sure of the comparison with the 10d!! different league!

The D70 has opened up a whole new avenue of photography for me- I was so use to old Pentax SLR and Canon Slr - I couldnt believe the mastery that you have over the image when taking it- Its one of the easiest cameras to get to grips with- I have tried the Canon 300d and 10d and the pentax Isd- the D70 wins on almost every performance test- a good buy!!!!

Very pretty and dramatic sunset. The wide angle really enhances the landscape. How do you like your new D70? I've just bought one, but I have not used it yet.

I tried that crop before submitting the image and decided against it as I preferred the sand detail in the foreground but it was a close 50-50 decision!
