I like the rich colors of the grasses. It's nice how you placed the birdhouse off to the side and balanced it with the trees in the background. You put the master's touch on this one.

Great shot, Alison! I really love the reddish-gold color of the grasses, then the skeletal silhouette of the tree tops just peeking over the horizon! It makes it look like the little bird house is really out in the middle of nowhere! The colors are really great - a 7!

nice solitary birdhouse alison. actually just today i was thinking of a shot just like this. off in the grasslands of mongolia, solitary individuals, or horses surrounded by nothing but grass and rolling plains.
