A hobby of yours? I am fascinated by the art of bonsai as well but know very little about it. What kind of tree is this? I do like the rocks as well -- especially the one sitting up on the two pieces of wood.

This is a wonderful idea. Only the grain of the board in the backgound suggests the true size of the subject. It would be interesting to experiment with angles that suggest this is a massive tree. Well done . . .
