I've never seen these up close before. It's an excellent arrangement, and what I also like is the one in the back in soft focus. Lighting is just right. Very good camera & lens, too.

Great shot Mark, amazing plants, so prehistoric in their appearance and life cycle. This plant is one of those Love/Hate subjects, it's regnerative efforts are responsible for much darkness and evil and on the other side, a vehicle of mercy for many. That's what photoagraphy is all about, stirring emotion. We tend not to think much about one's that do not stir our inner feelings, Good work, CAry

Nice Mark, it seems that it's already the beginning of the summer in Michigan because this are the buds of poppys which are out of flower. Anyway it's a nice composition and pretty colour, Well done, Femke
