Rona, this is well composed. The old mailbox helps lead the eye into the photo. You really have done your homework.

Thank you Pat. Just so you know, when I am out taking pics of old houses or windmills you always come to mind. :) Thank you for the inspiration! Rona

Thanks on the comments Melisa. I'm glad you like it. I enjoy taking pics of old houses. I believe people, back then, left their homes in the country to live in town. Now why they get lost in the dust is unknown to me. It is an interesting theory though. Thanks again! Rona

Thank you Toni. I had a blast going at all angles when taking these photos. The first thing that caught my eye was the old mailbox. I knew I could do something with it. The name is etched into the side of it still. I just loved it! Thanks again.

I love these old house shots. Makes you wonder why people just up and walk away from these structures. I mean buying a house isn't like tossing out a stick of gum when it gets old. I find it interstesting that the mail box is pointing in towards the house rather than towards the street. Strangly enough this house reminds me of depression - when everything becomes withered and withdrawn from the outside world. Have you taken any physcology course that can analyze that theory of thinking? =) Great work Rona!

Very nice composition and perspective --Looking through the weeds and the mailbox. Also, the deckled edge goes nicely with it, as does the sepia toning. Great moody image.

Nicely done Rona. The sepia really lends a lot to the image. Melissa
