beautiful image.. love the colors and the lighting.. excellent landscape. Nice perspective, love the reflection in the puddles and the lighthouse in the distance. Also, the sky adds to the overall mood of the composition.. nicely seen and captured.. good work

I like this shot better than the other one you posted. The reflecting pools lead me to the break in the cloud, and the lighthouse provides a point of interest away from the diagonal. While the other shot has a stronger obvious diagonal, it doesn't lead my eye anywhere useful, and acts like a barrier to the lighthouse.

A very nice composition. The location of the lighthouse and the reflection on water looks fantastic. One can feel the moments peace that will be followed by the thunder Gongrats Ayse

Thank you Ahmet, Eric, Sam for your comments!
Richard, thank you for your feedback! Yes I used a 28-80mm lens set to 35mm. The cove edge (horizon) is slightly rounded from this angle which is probably what you're seeing. The other image doesn't show the roundness as much from the angle I was shooting in :)

Great lighting and composition, perfect timing on this shot. I do prefer the other image, however I am sort of at a loss to explain why. I think maybe the horizon doesn't look quite right .... did you use the 28mm end of your lens?????? A great shot none the less.

Very nice capture. I particularly like the extended foreground with the tidal pools reflecting the colors from the sky.

Thank you everyone for the generous comments! I've just joined this site and looking forward to sharing images and comments with everyone :)
Hi James, I had been looking forward to going to Peggy's Cove for a long while. I haven't been there since I was a child. So it was really nice to visit the place again last spring, this time with camera in hand. I will share more photos of this beautiful place and I my one hope is that I have captured the magnificent beauty it possesses.
